MSC Cruises new ship MSC World Asia is set to debut in December 2026, and it’s going to offer some cool new amenities and outdoor entertainment experiences that cruisers will love.

The Harbour — which is a new neighborhood first seen on MSC World America – gets a new design on MSC World Asia. The space serves as a dynamic, all-day outdoor destination for families.

MSC World Asia will sail seven-night Mediterranean itineraries starting in December 2026 and will be the first ship in Europe to feature The Harbour.

Also, MSC World Asia will have seven pools and 13 hot tubs, including two newly designed pools in the Aqua Deck District — the outdoor Manila Bay pool and the indoor Coral Cove pool.

As the third ship in the line’s World Class series, which celebrates the beauty of world’s continents and oceans and reflects the global nature of MSC Cruises, MSC World Asia features subtle design elements that reflect Asia’s rich culture, art and landscapes.

1. New Look for The Harbour

The Harbour on MSC World Asia

The space offers an Asian-inspired design and is a venue where parents, children and thrill seekers can come together to eat and play and soak up the sun in a revolutionary outdoor park within the Family Aventura district.

Cruisers of all ages can enjoy The Harbour’s activities with varying levels of thrill including:

Cliffhanger: This is an exhilarating over-water swing ride that towers 164 feet above the ocean, providing outstanding views as you swing back and forth.

Adventure Trail Trail Ropes Course: This is an exhilarating two-level ropes course that covers 6,210 square feet and includes two Sky Rails similar to a zip line. Cruisers will get their adrenaline pumping and test their balance while enjoying taking in the ocean views from above.

The Harbour Aquapark: Featuring an array of fun waterslides and a lively splash area, this water park is a blast for all ages. There’s a 90-degree vertical drop slide and a raft slide. Plus, you can hop onto the dueling body slides to race against a friend.

The Harbour Bar & Bites: This is the spot to refuel with complimentary grab-and-go bites and refreshing drinks.

2. The Play Deck

This is a outdoor space designed for kids of all ages and built with the aim to get families together to connect and play. It combines comfortable seating with simple, playful elements for kids and families to enjoy together.

3. Spiral Slide

The Tree of Life @ The Spiral is a fun 11-deck spiral dry slide that blends Asian-inspired design with an adrenaline-pumping experience. The slide drops riders from The Harbour down to the heart of the World Promenade in a matter of seconds.

4. New Aqua Deck Neighborhood

The Aqua Deck district features a dynamic atmosphere. Cruisers can get their days started with tranquil wellness activities, enjoy afternoons with engaging entertainment and dance the night away at high-energy parties.

The Aqua Deck district offers two redesigned pools, one indoor and one outdoor:

Manila Bay & Pearl Lagoon Bar is the main pool deck area on the ship, and it features the new Manila Bay Pool and Pearl Lagoon Bar. The Manila Bay Pool is designed for cruisers who want to enjoy a fun day under the sun. From early morning to sunset, the area offers a lively mix of activities and entertainment and features more shade, refreshing amenities and versatile seating than ever.

Coral Cove & Coral Bar is MSC World Asia’s weather-proof indoor pool with a retractable glass roof. This makes it a desirable and versatile area, ideal for all weather conditions. The multi-generational space offers an elegant, sophisticated design inspired by the beauty of the ocean, including a large-scale art installation by artist Elisabetta Milan in the shape of a water droplet. The Coral Cove pool also has a poolside bar.
